Common Questions
How do check-in windows work?
Windows open every 2 hours throughout the day. You and your partner each take a photo during the window. You have 30 minutes to check in penalty-free — after that, penalties apply until the window closes.
What happens if I miss a window?
Each missed window adds to your penalty tab. The tab tracks how much you owe. Think of it as a gentle reminder to show up for each other.
How do streaks work?
Both partners must check in during every window of the day. If you both show up all day, your streak grows by one. Miss a single window — the streak resets.
Is my data private?
Completely. Your photos are only visible to you and your partner. We don't show them to anyone else, use them for ads, or sell your data. When you delete a photo, it's gone.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data, photos, and unlinks your partner.
How does the widget work?
The Us widget shows your partner's most recent check-in photo right on your Home Screen. Add it through iOS long-press → Edit Home Screen → add widget → search “Us”.
